image of the crossmember/brace is in the link above. I just replaced it, following the "snug, then a little more" idea, but I want to know the specific torque for this brace just to be safe. Thank you.

It's not an engine head bolt. The torque isn't critical. You're probably never going to touch it again, so just get it really tight. Similar to a wheel lug nut. (about as tight as you can get it with just your arm with a 10 to 12" ratchet or wrench.)
