Towing a 4x8 Uhaul with 2021 Corolla LE

Scotty!  Help!  My 2021 Toyota Corolla LE (FWD, Gas), is not recommended (in the owner's manual) for towing.  I have a serious issue if this is correct!  I am moving cross country (Missouri to Arizona) and I need to tow a small U-Haul trailer with my things.  I also plan to continue to use the hitch to carry my electric bicycle which is too heavy for regular bike racks.  U-Haul DOES sell and install the hitch and wiring for a 2021 Toyota.  Am I taking an unnecessary risk if I tow a trailer that distance?

Yes, that car has a CVT and those don't take kindly to being stressed by towing.

U-Haul DOESN'T care if you blow your transmission.

rent a uhaul truck , and a trailer to put your Corolla on.
