Hey Scotty,
I'm about to buy a Lancruiser Amazon from 2000 with 185000 ml on it. Manual 5 speed transmission, 1HD-FTE engine, in good general condition.
Please help me with some intel, so I could make a good decision here.
Cheers to you & your work !!!
Land Cruisers are extremely durable SUVs so that kind of mileage is normal for those. You said it's an "Amazon" version - is that a trim level or does it refer to something else? That diesel straight 6 engine is an absolute workhorse and will last a very very long time. Have a mechanic look it over to ensure it's in good condition. If everything checks out, go ahead and buy it if you don't mind the price.
You never told us the cost of the vehicle. I don't know much about the vehicle since I live in the US. Of course, Toyotas are reliable with any type of engine.
Arround 18000 $. I'm from France and that's the average price for these things...pretty well maintained ofcourse and no harsh conditions usage.
I couldn't want less automatic tranny and air suspenssions of any kind!!! Just old school, if possible. But front independant suspenssion for more confort on road.
Thanx for your feedback!
No, it's not a trim version. Actually, in UK they're badged "Amazon", in Western Europe "SW" and in Japan "Cygnus" I believe...Anywho, the point is, it's a Landcruiser 100 series or HDJ100 with that type of engine and transmission.
Ah okay cool. If it a mechanic okays it to be in good mechanical condition, go ahead and get it - it still has a lot of life left with that engine/transmission combination.
