Hi Scotty. Recently came across a Toyota AE70 a friend is selling it @ $2000 what your take, it is well taken care of. My concern is are they reliable cars?

I would have it inspected by a mechanic. If it passes and you like the car, for $2000, why not? Even if you just get a couple of years out of it, you aren't in it for much money.
