My 2006 Toyota Avalon emits white smoke from exhaust when the car is started and white smoke goes off few minutes after driving off. some say its oil leaking from valve cover gasket. though i notice engine oil inside the spark plug well.kindly advise

Okay white smoke is either burning oil or burning coolant. So see if you're losing cool one first. If you're not losing coolant then it is oil. And this car's age off in the valve seals. Get a little worn and they'll leak a little oil when they sit. Then when you start them you get a little white smoke. You just live with that. Being a Toyota, it probably doesn't burn too much oil. You might not even notice it much, but if you're not losing coolant, it is burning a small amount of oil
