Toyota Camry 30K Miles Maintenanc

Hi Scotty and friends; 2020 Toyota Camry LE, almost 30K miles (~29850); the dealer I bought my car from gives me free oil changes for life every 10K miles and they were doing some complimentary checks up until 25K; however, now they're offering some maintenance package for my 30K miles checkup and I was wondering if you could tell me if it's worth doing or is it just a scam.

Here's a link to the pics and the quote on the bottom for all the things they say they'll do ($161.03):

Thanks.

let them do their checks and oil change, but refuse anything additional. Find an independent mechanic for everything else.

Thanks, is $161 a reasonable price for those checks though (are they all even necessary at 30K miles?)

skip that. Just get the free stuff.

Got it, thanks Joe.

Total scam.  Your oil, filter and pcv should be changed at 5000.  Trans fluid and filter at about 40K.  You can send me $161.30 and picture of your car, I'll look at it.  The dealer is just setting you up for 10 other things they find during their "inspection" to charge you big money for.  Find an honest, independent mechanic.  I wouldn't trust the dealer to even do the oil change correctly.

Awesome, thanks for the warning.

I also have a 2020 Camry LE. The quote he gives you is the Toyota Recommended Service, which they are going to change your air filter and other things.

I recently went to the dealer for my wife's 2020 Corolla LE oil change, most of the items on the list come with the oil change, so they are basically charging a lot more for just replacing the air filter.

Tell them just do the basic oil change, both air filters are VERY EASY to change, I replaced my engine air filter within 3 mins.

Thanks; yeah, I figure they will and I've changed air and cabin filters before and they're super straight forward on a toyota if I recall correctly.

Oh nice; actually looked through the manual that came with the car, it's all there. Thanks RunningMan
