I found a 1999 Toyota Camry with 150,000 miles for $1800. Assuming my mechanic says there are no issues, should I buy it? How long can I anticipate it lasting if I drive 15,000 miles a year and take good care of it?

As long as it’s in good shape and you maintain it well I have seen those go well over 300-400k miles. 1800 bucks is a steal. Just make sure you have it checked out. And I wouldn’t wait long, at that price it won’t be available very long.
I’m having it checked by a mechanic but the CARFAX report shows some accidents. Should that deter me from buying it? Or is it still a good deal?
Depends on the nature of the accidents. I would not worry about minor fender-benders.

ours has 198k so far, drives/rides nice, drive it easy
