Should I buy this Toyota Celica in Saudi Arabia

I'm looking at a Toyota Celica 1994 with a manual gear from a private party that has 163000 Km at approximately 2700 USD

So is it considered a decent choice? If so are it's parts cheap and easy to maintain? Mind you I'm living in Saudi Arabia and yes I will take it to a mechanic to check it.

The best source of information that can help answer the key questions about parts, mechanics and prices are fellow Saudis. Fortunately, there are a number of them on the Toyotanation forum - ask them and good luck!

1. Is it going to be your daily driver?

2. Can you find parts for it in your region?

3. Can mechanics (in your area) work on it, are they willing to?

4. What’s the market value of this vehicle in Saudi Arabia? Is the used car market affected by the pandemic, like in other countries/regions?

Long story short, if you expect this to be your daily driver, forget about it. Maybe as a weekend toy, if you have the time, money & willpower to take on a project.
