Hello,
i have a Toyota Corolla 09- and it’s having a problem upon ignition/cranking . It’s not the gas line since I replace it and it’s still doing the same thing. There’s about a 2-3 second delay before it fully cranks on, it doesn’t happen every time but it happens once every 4-5 times I go and turn it on.my mechanic says can’t find anything wrong with it idk ? Thank you
Did you checked the battery or corrosion at the terminal the battery?
How are your sparkplug?
Pressure test the fuel line, you may have clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump.
I don’t know your driving habits, but I will add this. It takes a lot of energy for the battery to start the car. That car has to run a while to give the alternator a chance to charge the battery back up. If you start your car a lot and then make short little trips, you may be taking more energy out of the battery when you start the car than you are putting back in by driving it. This problem really compounds if you have an older battery with a lower capacity for a full charge. Best wishes, and I hope it all works out.
