Hi Scotty, when I start my car the engine runs at high rpm of aroung 2500 rpm, not the usual idling speed of around 800 rpm.
I took off the carb when I did a top overhaul and changed the cylinder head gasket. When I put it back I had this problem mentioned above. Please help. Thanks

Try to reset the computer by removing the negative battery cable for 15 min. Then you should drive the car until it reprograms the idle and other parameters. I think it may solve the issue.
