Something weird happened with my 2010 Toyota Corolla last week. After work, I went to a store and parked. When I got back to my car, it would not start. Called Triple A. The guy that showed up checked my battery...that wasn't it. Then he reached in and fiddled with a bit and the car started!?! Said something about the a wire (I think). He said don't worry about it, and that the car was fine (it has been so far). What do you think it was? Should I go to a mechanic...and, if so, what should I ask him to do?
Maybe you had a loose wire on the solenoid. There's really no way we can tell from here. (If he had hit the starter to make it work then it would have been a bad starter.)
