Today Toyota announced the plan to replace over 102K complete engines for 2022-2023 Tundra and Lexus with V6 Turbo engine.
My question: How long will it take, and what resources does the Toyota factory have to build over 100k new engines in addition to the continuous production of new trucks? It appears to be an extremely challenging and significant task. I wonder if they will source new engines from the factory in Japan to the U.S.!! What is your thought?
