Rav 4 2019.gas engines
US buyers got FREE. Under hood insulation blankets to solve loud cabin noise levels
these were installed in all 2019 hybrid and all subsequent years in all rav models.
toyota Canada says if you install you void your warranty!!!
And BS that canadians prefer loud sound in rav but installed in all models anyway subsequently
Also US consumers had infotainment units reflashed or modules added for ANDROID
AITO again FREE as added in 2020 model year
toyota Canada says if you modify you void your warranty!!
One of the forum rules is not to double post. Thank you.
I fail to see how this is disrespectful.
Toyota researched the market and determined Canadians prefer a louder cabin sound than Americans. I can definitely believe that as Americans whine about EVERYTHING and I'm sure they just decided to get out in front of the curve on that. If anything, that's a compliment to Canadians.
As for the infotainment center, I'm sure they'll have an update for Canadian vehicles soon. They can't always roll every update out at the exact time globally.
Boy, people are SEN.SI.TIVE. these days. If this is all you have to get upset about, I'll trade problems with you any day. {black}
I get that you are mad, but see if you can funnel that anger into something productive. For example, is there there any law or restrictions as to why toyota did mods here in USA freely but not in Canada? If it is that toyota cheaped out and it is just a cost thing, then go do a thing. Plenty report to the NHTSA here for recalls and whatnot. Does Canada has something similar? Sure others are just as concerned as you are. Gather them up on forms and such. If it do be a real problem then it should have been made possible for all vehicles, canadian or usa. I don't exactly get why we only got these free things here.
Our version of NHTSA is Transport Canada.
Will be sure to reference it as such next time!thanks for letting me know.
One thing, when you say "Toyota" says this and that, are you talking about the dealership or the corportation itself? If the dealership is saying it, reach out to the corporation. If the corporation is saying the same thing, go the legal way. There should be some sort of consumer protection gov't organization there right?
Man, your head is gonna e x p l o d e when you discover what Toyota sells in the other parts of the world..
They must have run out of insulation pads and Android licenses.
