Hello Scottie,
I recently purchased a 2012 Toyota highlander limited with 56,000 miles, V6, automatic rransmission.
The back passengers doors will not lock or unlock using the key fob or the master lock button on the driver side door.
Also the power liftgate will not operate or close using a key fob. It does operate using the liftgate button on the dash.
The key fob battery has been changed and I purchased a new 2nd key fob, but the door and liftgate issue remains the same.
Do you have any thoughts abt how to fix these problems?? Any help is greatly appreciate. Thanks for your time and expertise. Karen from Ky.

Didn't any of these problems show up during the pre-purchase inspection?

Those functions are computer-controlled. You need a professional-grade bidirectional scan tool for diagnosis.
