I have a 2008 Toyota Matrix xR with more than 2999999 kms ( 😆 ). Synthetic oil every 5000 kms since new.
At 2800 - 2900 RPM there is a vibration (sort of buzz) which is especially noticeable in 4th or 5th gear. When cruising on the Highway at 110 kph (and just under 2900 rpm) the buzz starts other parts in the car resonating and can just be felt on the steering wheel. It happens in any gear and in neutral, its just more noticeable in high gear.
Any idea what it may be?

Vibrations going to be hard to figure out cuz they're very complex. But if any noise appears with the vibration, look at my video finding the source of car noise of Scotty. But if not and you're prone to guest start with guess what the harmonic balancer in front of the engine. They're metal and rubber and if the rubber comes apart they will start vibrating. Pray it's not internals of the transmission cuz that happens to cost a fortune
I don't think it is in the transmission because it still appears in neutral and clutch in. Will have the harmonic balancer checked out. Will update the post. Thank you.
