Toyota oil type 0-16 or 0-20

I’m so confused. My 2020 Camry manual says 0-20 oil, but when I look under the hood there’s a sticker that says 0-16. What’s going on?


I have a 2020 RAV4. Toyota says that if your car uses the new Dynaforce engine it’s best to use 0w-16. You can use 0w-20 but switch to the 16 at next oil change. But I would check with Toyota to verify

I am not an expert on the oil. I have a hypothesis that 0W16 and 0W20 are essentially the same oil, just with a different standards label. Don’t quote me on that. It’s just a hypothesis.
