I started to lean toward Toyota and Honda after watching Scotty’s channel. I used to be an American car only guy. I know Toyota would save me lot of repair money in the long run. When I purchased a new car, the 2021 Camry was my choice. My Camry saved my life today. I was making a left turn at an intersection. I believe my speed was 20 mph (it’s a big 6 lane intersection). A Tahoe ran a red light and I didn’t see it at all. My Canry braked on its own and ultimately saved my life.
I'm glad you're ok, but don't get in the habit of letting technology cover for your mistakes. Wait until oncoming vehicles stop fully before making your turn.
Yep I agree.
Also, autonomous braking comes equipped on almost all new vehicles. Even my 2014 Ford Focus has a front collision avoidance system
(It’s mandated where I live and quite honesty It’s a great thing to have. The one in my focus even displays the distance to the car in front in seconds and reads speed limit signs… over the years it has prevented quite a few accidents)
