What is the rev range you are talking about?

Well it's probably wearing out internally I see that as they get high mileage.now one never knows and a lot of times even at the dealer they don't spend much time analyzing your car.so if you can find a guy like me in your area have them put a Toyota dealer level scan tool on it road test it and watch the data on transmission information.if you're lucky it could be something like an electric solenoid going bad or even the transmission not being grounded correctly because it's electronic and when it's cold a bad ground will work less efficiently than when the engine's all warmed and the metal is hot and conducts electricity better
