Toyota newbie here. Long time Scotty viewer.
Today, on the lot, two of the 2023 Tacomas I saw had their engines and transmissions as being made in the USA and Thailand.
Would this affect your decision to purchase a Tacoma knowing this? Can anyone speak to the quality of Toyota parts coming from these factories?
I want to be sure we can count on the quality of these engines and transmission long term before making a purchase.

Scotty's Triumph motorcycle is made in Thailand. He still has it.
If you worried about the quality control, lease one. If you like it and have no problems after the lease is up, buyout the lease.

Scotty emailed me directly and he said the same thing. His Triumph was made in Thailand, he says he trusts them.
