tpms

I want to put in tpms on my rims. I think I should buy the aluminum ones instead of the ones with the rubber stem. Any opinions besides Scotties view of not having them, which ones are better.

Love that external TPMS kit. Love what DOC says, but many people NEVER even notice whats going on with there cars. Ive seen people driving with tires down to about 15 pounds. Pretty obvious to me!!!

yep, have seen that, even stopped people to tell them, they say oh.

Scotty made some videos about TPMS. There is one of them

Those sensors aren’t expensive, but aren’t cheap too.

a $10 tire pressure gauge can do the same thing. And whether you have tpms or not, you always need to visually check you tire before you drive(many people don’t do so)

how does a 10$ tire gauge let me know that my tire pressure is ok when i am sitting behind the wheel {black}

Robber stem and metal stem are about same.
unless you drive in very harsh environment

Why would you even want TPMS?  Is everyone getting that lazy?

I prefer NOT to be checking tire pressure just because it LOOKS low in negative 30 degree weather, tires are always looking low in my uneven gravel drive.

it's not "lazy". It's "efficient" {black}:laughingoutloud:

Not very "efficient" when they don't work. My tire gauge always works.

I keep a working tire gauge in the car as well, and it hardly ever gets used thanks to TPMS.

you must have one from walmart
