Okay so recently my TCS went out on my 03 yukon at around 515k I'm at 518k now and it doesn't work anymore I slip and slide on wet roads by accident but the TCS off light isn't even on but it doesn't reduce any of my power and my cruise control also went out at the same time I'm not sure if it is the bcm or the ecm or something in my transmission. can I get some help I hate sliding all across the roads not even giving it much gas. It's scary at night because the roads are extremely hard to see because they are newly paved black roads and I have LEDs.
It could be a lot of things. It needs to be scanned with a high end OBD tool.

I have an old friend who's been a mechanic for around 50 years he was my dad's best friend but he has dementia so he don't remember much but he had a scanner I don't remember what code it was but it was a traction control code that's all I remember
