Trade in 2017 Odyssey for a new Honda Pilot

Hey Scotty, with the increase prices in the used car market, would be a good idea to trade in a 2017 Honda Odyssey SE, 6 speed automatic with 45,000 miles for a new 2021/22 Pilot?
My concern with the new Pilot is the 9 speed automatic transmission.  Given the good reliability of past generations, will the new Pilot be as reliable?

Thanks

See below:  I would not get the new Honda Pilot as that ZF 9-speed AT has had a bad track record thus far and if you plan to keep the Pilot for as long as possible that transmission may let you down.  I consider that transmission a deal breaker.  Our gearbox expert @Dan can chime in as well, but I would pass on it.  Also, the engine in the Pilot (3.5L V6 J35Y6) has cylinder deactivation (what Honda calls VCM or variable cylinder management) and can potentially wear out/damage the engine over time.  I consider that another dealbreaker;  even if you disable it (only available via aftermarket and can void your warranty) the hardware is still intact.
