2006 Chevy Trailblazer 4.2L 4WD
190,000 Miles
Automatic Trans.
Does not burn a drop of oil however it guzzles gasoline. 8MPG. is this normal and is there anything i can do to help the situation. throttle body cleaned, air flow sensor cleaned, air filter cleaned.
4wd
is kept in 2wd however

Even with 2WD selected, a 4WD driveline still burns more fuel. UNLESS you have locking hubs.

Have you changed the fuel filter? Could be clogged up. Also, have you had the fuel injectors cleaned? If not, I'd do both of those.

Are you in stop and go city driving? If not that number is not normal
no i live in the country about 30 minutes from town
