2001 Honda CRV, 176k miles. AWD, automatic
I got this nice 01 crv. Very well maintained. Only thing that is concerning is the records I am finding for when Trans fluid was changed is at 133k from Honda. They did a drain and refill.
And I changed it again when I bought it, at 176k, did a drain and refill with genuine honda.
So does it come from factory when new, with a blue Trans pan gasket? Because it's blue. I thought from factory they were black??
So possibly was changed somewhere before 133k and just don't have records.
I mean it seems to drive fine and doesn't slip.
But let's say it wasn't changed till 133k. Wouldn't it had toasted the Trans by then, like wouldn't it had been black and changing would of made it messed up and would be acting up?
Right now it smells fine, and is a somewhat red, smells somewhat fresh doesn't smell anywhere near burnt or anything.
easy on that submit button mister

Wouldn't it had toasted the Trans by then
It depends how it was driven.
changing would of made it messed up and would be acting up?
Not necessarily.
If it shifts fine now then probably not.
Get to the point. Are you asking us if you should change the ATF? The answer is the same as the last time several times you asked ... at this many miles it's a risk.
also how do you go through so many cars? I've lost count of all the cars you posted about in only the past year.
