I wondered if anybody could help me out I have a 2017 Jeep Patriot with the CVT transmission I bought one of the aftermarket dipsticks I'm getting the reading of 70 mm and I'm getting this reading when cold and hot and yes it is on level ground yes I'm leaving the car running and yes I took it for a nice long drive to get it warm and put it through all the gears but no matter what I do it still reads 70 mm cold or hot tried multiple times any suggestions or any advice

What does CVT transmissions are? Kind of bizarre. I often see them do that as long as it's not losing any fluid. I just live with it. That's one of the reasons they don't put dipsticks in them in the first place
