Hello, I own a 2016 V6 6AT Accord Coupe. I will be changing my transmission fluid today and was curious I've seen some members point out there is a external transmission filter (located below the battery/air intake) which requires removing the battery/air intake. My question is are these filters suppose to be replaced ever so often like a oil filter? I have not found any information on this other than a few threads.

Yes, the oil and filter should be changed.
