2016 Buick Regal 2.0 L, 52,000 miles
The owners manual service interval says to change the Trans fluid every 45,000 miles.
My mechanic told me not to do it, it could cause problems. Who do I believe,
my mechanic and the engineers at General Motors?
If you let it go too far then yes, changing it can cause problems. At 52,000 I would think that you are still good to change it. Take care of that transmission because it is the weak link in that car.

Request synthetic fluid and an Delco filter, ball park.
If you want you transmission to last, do it now or pay $$3-4,000 down the road.
Ballpark cost $200-250.....
