Lack of power and hesitation on highway

Hi Scotty,

I just recently had auto shop do a transmission filter and transmission fluid. With 7 quart added. And now it's giving me issues on the highway. Struggle to go fast and seem to hesitate. I believe they may have used the wrong transmission fluid type. At this point I not sure what to?  Transmission fluid supposed to be mecon LV. I read that this is not compatible with other fluid since the transmission hold 13 quart mixing it would cause issues? Should a full flush be done and replace the filter again?

Thank you

Ralph

Absolutely not. Send the vehicle back to where you got it from.

You don't want a power flush. In that situation if the wrong fluid was introduced a fluid exchange, using the transmission's own internal pump, would be OK.

Took it back to them and they now say it's the torque converter and want 3,600.00 for the job. Hell no! Wondering if the stolen my transmission and put another one in. Don't have pictures to prove otherwise.
