2001 Ford Taurus SE
Less than 81,000 miles
Has small leak in rear pump seal and was told to use Lucas Transmission Stop Leak to stop leak. Being cautious... is this OK as don't want to cause more issues till can get seal replaced.No rough jerking or refusing to go into gear.... Don't want to gum up Transmission or destroy other seals... please help with advice... My Dad was a mechanic but has since crossed over in 2016... not sure who to trust now...

How badly does it leak? Do you have a photo?
