Transmission oil

Hi Scotty

I just bought a 2008 Lexus ES350 with 113000 miles. Everything thing looks good nice and tight, clean engine oil and no codes. The owners manual says change Trans oil @90k if used to tow. So I don’t know if previous owner towed or now. So what do you think it should be ok for me to change it? I just don’t want to change it and have Transmission problems. And what about the plugs and coil packs?

If the fluid isn't bright cherry red and perfectly clear, then you can assume it wasn't done recently. In that case, change it so you can be sure it was done.

If the engine runs fine, there's no reason to change coils. The plugs will probably be fine, but you can always pull them out and look at the condition.
