I bought a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta , got 45000 miles on it. Is it necessary to have the transmission fluid service? Volkswagen dealership said if they will do the transmission flush, it might create problems with my transmission and advice just leave it. Any advice on this?

I would do it but not at the dealership. I would find a transmission shop or an independent mcechanic. I would drop the pan and change the fluid and filter.

Wow. "problems" after only 45,000 miles?
It just shows what kind of junk it is.
