Hi Dear Uncle Scotty,

Asking this for a friend. Chevrolet Trailblazer 2009 model with 1,50,000 kms. HE recently had a transmission fluid leak from the seal being bad and fixed that. As per your video and FAQ, it is best to leave the tranny fluid if they arent changed in over long time for chevy's. AS per what the garage says, the leak has lost about 1 litre due to the leak. Would it be a good idea to leave it as is and drive since he feels the transmission slipping from 2-3rd gear. Or would it be better to add some Transmission fluid.

If it has *lost* fluid and is low, add some. A little bit of new fluid is better than *low* fluid. Otherwise if it is full, scotty's advice applies completely

I would not drain it and put new fluid in. I would use the old fluid over. You're driving a ticking Time bomb anyways with that mileage

@scottykilmer Haha, as Always I like your expression on that. Okay sure. Will leave as it is then.
