bought a 2000 camry, ( 850$) 166kmiles original miles. it does not reverse. rpms rev very high from idle. only trouble code is P7055. which is shift solenoid B. im sure the guy never drained or changed the transmission fluid. should i go ahead and drain it change out the valve body add fluid back and see what happens? or am i gonna need a new transmission and everything that comes with that ?

Why you might as well? Just try fixing it first. And that's a good way to try. If not, it's time for another transmission
