I have a 2008 Dodge Charger 3.5 L. SXT. It has 137,000 miles. My car is having trouble starting but when I disconnect the camshaft positioner sensor it starts right up? Why is that?

Because when you're disconnect the sensor the computer goes into failsafe mode and can often start the vehicle better that way. Pray just have a bad camshaft sensor and not a worn out cam because a lot of times it is a worn out cam and that cost a fortune
