Here's what I am working with I have restomod 52 chevy pickup with a small block 350 5.7 L V8 engine from a 75 nova. Right now, the engine will crank but not turn over. So far I have replaced the cap and rotor and the ignition coil. Nothing has changed. I watched Scotty's video from 10 years ago on diagnosing it and since we believe it is a spark issue since we see fuel being sprayed into the carburetor, we did the test to see if there was any spark in the spark plugs. (The test where you take jumper cables and hook one end up to the battery and the other to one of the plug wires with a spare spark plug). There isn't any spark coming from it. We are thinking it might be the distributor but are unsure. What do you think it could be?

It sounds like you need someone right there with you.  So many loose ends in that question that one posts can't solve your problem.

A engine that will crank but will not turnover?  Do you mean it will turn over when trying to start it but it will not fire, run?

A engine swap but how complete is the swap?  So many wires, are they all connected to the right places?

Did the distributor get removed so now the timing is off to stop the motor from running?

You really need someone there to help.
