Hey Scotty, what’s a good regular sized 1/2 ton truck for $10,000-$16,000? My friend is looking for one and for some reason she thinks she wants another Ram, because hers is a Daimler built ‘04, and doesn’t believe me when I say they’ve been Italian built junk since 2014 lol

Go the Tundra route.

Another vote for the Tundra here. It's the only half ton I'd own.

What does she plan on doing with the truck? How much will she tow (if all)? What about payload? A Tundra may work for her especially if reliability is the top priority, but you will pay for it. Of the newer trucks, stick only to the Tundra or the 2011-2014 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L V8.
