I have a 2011 Lincoln MKX 127,000 miles
The MKX runs great I average 23 MPG
Should I change the spark plugs and do the extra credit of changing the ignition coils based on mileage? Or wait?

Replace the spark plugs but leave the coils.

It won't hurt to wait. I still have seven original Motorcraft coils that are 21 years old with 156k miles and they work fine. One was replaced around 98K if I recall.
