Hi Scotty,
I have an 04 Scion Xa with manual transmission. When I get up to around 50-60 mph my car develops a bit of shaking. It subsides after I get past that speed. Sometimes it fades out if I maintain that speed.
I have this exact same issue in my 04 Dodge ram 4x4. Seems like there would be a likely culprit with two completely different type vehicles behaving the exact same way at exact same mph range.

Your tires may be out of balance. If you tend to drive on some rough roads alot it could have thrown off the weights, which might be why both are doing it. You might try moving the wheels front to back and see if it continues.
