Guys, my son and I want to get a project car and since I come here for advice on everything else cars, I figured I'd come by for this too.
What is a good oddball tuner car for me and my son to build? We don't have a specific build type yet so anything goes really.

There are a few options. You could bring me a U-Haul box and I'd still find a way to make it fast.
Just had a customer who bought a 2016 Police Interceptor Tahoe with 180k miles. We tore down the motor and rebuilt it, put better heads in it, a big cam, full exhaust, and a blower. It may be a big brick essentially, but that thing hurtles through air resistance like a meteor falling to earth. And it was fun to do. Definitely an unpopular build, but a head turner for sure.
I really don't know of uncommon tuner cars. Almost all the 2 door sports cars can be tuned, but I won't list those.
