I live in Pennsylvania where the roads are salted in the winter. I just purchased a 2022 Ford F-250. My question: should I put additional undercoating on the better protect my truck? If yes, Any recommendations on what type of undercoating to use,- rubber-based or wax-based or other.

Short answer: some people like it (especially if you live somewhere with lots of salt on the roads). Some people don't (modern cars don't really need it; it's not better than just keeping your undercarriage clean). But unanimous that a bad/cheap/amateur undercoating is worse than none (if rust starts under the coating, it can be a nightmare).
