Hi, I have a 2010 chevy silverado LT 1500 V8 engine 5.3 automatic transmission, with 180,000mi on it.
I believe the oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced but can't do it for a couple day. Still intend to drive it as it works fine.
Problem is I'm getting a rapid beeping sound from the "low oil pressure. Stop engine" message being on my dash and would like to know how and where I can disconnect something to temporarily disable all the chimes with to intention to plug it back in once I replace the oil pressure switch.

Well just file your ears to the chime and unplug it usually it's deep inside the dash and a pain in the butt to get to though
