Love the videos, just wondering if you have any tips for me about limiting wear from cold weather starting. It's -40° this morning and even with the car being plugged in I got a bit of black smoke from the exhaust when starting this morning. It did stop after a minute of running but I know it's a sign of burning oil and possibly oil bypassing the frozen rings, probably not good for oil pump either. Any help up here in the frozen hell.

Brrr! -40 (that's the same in C or F by the way)
Synthetic oil. It flows much better when cold.
