What do u think about a used 2011 Hyundai sonata with 126,000 Miles, and had a new engine replaced two years ago. How long do you think it would probably last and do you think they’re reliable for a first car.

Run away! They usually fall apart at 120 130k miles the new engine is probably a junkyard engine I would stay away from specifically that generation of Sonatas.

Anyways, if you do decide to buy it, have a mechanic check out the engine and make sure it is in good shape now. If you can not have a mechanic check it out BEFORE purchase, don't buy it.

For a first car, a generation before that is actually pretty reliable I have an 09 Kia very reliable but the newer ones 2010 and up are US made and have defective engines known to blow up as early as 50 60k miles. For a first car, consider a Toyota or Honda. Even Subaru is better than that so if you find an inexpensive Legacy that could also be a good first car.

How many miles on the new engine? They are usually trouble free up to 100k miles and after that, everything falls off. For the first car, I would recommend a Toyota or Honda.

123,000 miles In total but idk how many miles the new engine has on it

So, run a way. This means that the car has not been taken care of at all and it may fall apart anytime.
