[Solved] Used Acura or Lexus?

Hey all! I'm looking to buy a used Acura or Lexus sedan/ SUV. I have a bit over 20 grand to spend on this purchase, and my only requirement is that I want an all wheel drive. Is there a particular model that I should look into?

The Acuras are a bit cheaper in general, but I heard that the V6 models tend to have transmission issues. is that true?

Please let me know what y'all think! Thanks a lot!

I believe the 2015 + Acura TLX's with  8 and then 9 speed transmission were recalled due to rough shifting, not sure if their was any real fix.  The pre 2015 TL 6 speed automatic trans were fine I.  Acura RDX's are pretty bullet proof.

The Lexus IS have notorious pre-mature inner front tire wear issues as well as some other lexus models.  If you dont want to replace your front tires every 10K-15K miles, I would avoid those. Other than that they are very reliable

Lexus.

Because their V6 engines has a timing chain starting with the model year 2007- not a timing belt that are in Acura/Honda V6 of similar vintage that requires replacing every 100k.

2016 and newer GS 350 are available in all wheel or rear wheel drive.

Thanks for the reply! The GSs are definitely beautiful cars, but they're a bit over my budget haha.
The RDXs seem like a solid option, I'm just not 100% sure about their automatic transmissions.
