Used Toyota GT86

Hey scotty

I'm interested in buying a used GT86, manual trans. The ones I've found so far range from 30 000 to 65 000 miles. What's your opinion of these models and is there anything worth noting that I should pay special attention to? I'm from Europe (Belgium).

Thanks for your time scotty, love your channel.

Cheers,

Jeffrey

Hello!

It is actually rebadged Subaru BRZ and the engine is also made by Subaru. There are some basic info:

Perhaps @dan and @inthrustwetrust know more

Good luck!

The one I saw was from 2019. In the links given I found out they got a facelift at some point. There's a couple I found on sale, going to stick with the after facelift ones. Manual of course 😏

I looked at one when I bought my WRX.  My wife didn’t like the way the seatbelt hit her neck; otherwise would have bought it.

They are not particularly fast, but are easy to drive at the limit and handle like a dream.  For a sports car they are about as reliable as it gets, and cheap and easy to fix if something breaks.

Unless you really need high performance they are a great choice.

That's pretty much what I'm looking for! Seems they're pretty easy to modify as well. Thanks for the info!
