Of all the V10 engines that were made, where any of them any good? I know dodge made 2 v10 engines; (486 for ram pickups and viper 8.3), Ford 6.8, Lexus LFA one-off, Audi, etc. Do you think they could make a comeback if emissions and regulations were out of the picture today with modern technology?

You can get almost as much power out of a V6 today that you could from one of those old V10 engines. Why bother?

Well they were Marvel's of technology but basically they were Overkill. And they do get horrendous gas mileage I doubt if they'll ever bring them back for anything other than a rare commercial application more power is really needed
