Scotty, i am soon to buy a 90s model acura integra 5 speed with 131k miles for about $2000. No codes, but should i check to see if the valves need adjusting? No tapping while running. Not sure of the year but everything is good on it as far as i can see.

Well if it's not tapping I should be fine

Check the owner's manual for specified valve adjustment (if required) maintenance.
