Hey Scotty, big fan love the channel. I hope you are enjoying Tennessee. Have an odd one. I have 1970 something 240z in my garage. It was was father in law's who just recently passed away. While figuring out what to do with it, we found the title was not his name but his mother's, who passed away like 30 years ago. So now we are trying to figure out what to do with this. Is it easy to get the title in my mother in laws names? We live in Massachusetts. Also, you know anyone who is looking for a 240z
Seth:-)
If it was me I'd call the local title and registration office and ask them. That would be my first call anyway. You may need copies of wills/trusts and maybe death certificates.
Disclaimer... This is what I would do before paying a lawyer. Contact the county probate court and explain the situation. Maybe the mom's will is on file and addresses the car's heir. Also contact the DMV and see what guidance they offer... You might get lucky. As to selling the car, there is a demand for the old Z cars, especially if it is not rusted out. Best of luck.
