Vibration at 65-75 mph

Hello, I have a 2000 silverado 2wd, extended cab,4.8v8, 2 peice drive shaft, 4speed auto, with p265/75r16 goodyear ultraterrain at tires, i have a vibration while driving around 65 to 75 mph. Rebalanced the drive shaft( both sections), i checked the u joints the ujoint on the drive shaft move freely and also rebalaced the tires, the tires did not balance out the best.  The front suspension is tight( no play)

That could well be your problem. How old are the tires? Do you feel the vibration in the steering wheel? Are your wheel bearings at all 4 wheels OK?


@chucktobias the vibration feels to be from the rear, the tire are made in 41 week of 2021, I checked the hubs the hubs are tight( noplay)


Rotate tires front to back and see if the vibration travels with them, particularly if it causes vibration in the steering wheel.
