hi, my mom really likes Volvos because she has the feeling of safety when she rides around in one. also, her rich friends have them so she is wondering about leasing one? is it a good lease or should we get a Lexus Acura etc?
Well since you are leasing it doesn't really matter. Volvos of today and completely imported from China and chinese made. Not to say it's not a good car. Just plastics are not the best quality, but again you are leasing so no matter. Just trade out after you are done with it haha. Hell if your mom does get it and then decide she doesn't like it then she can go ahead and lease whatever other car she's interested in right?
Don't all cars have enough air-bagging to make any car "safe"? If your Mom is in a snob-race it makes no difference because nobody wins that race and she will have to buy another status symbol soon anyway.

Yeah I thought they were talking about a 2005 XC90 or something. A Ford fiesta could also be considered safe. If she likes it they can be good cars but a new one seems pointless so lease would be OK.
At least it is her money and not your inheritance, right? 😉
